SB Shirts Co is a small custom apparel company for sailors. We make shirts, sweatshirts, and accessories built around a detailed line drawing of your exact boat, not a stock anchor graphic. You tell us the make, model, and boat name, we prepare the drawing, and we print it when you order. Run from Ventura, California.

Why boat-specific line drawings

Nearly every piece of sailing apparel on the market uses interchangeable art: a wheel, an anchor, a generic sloop that could be any boat from any decade. It works as decoration and it means nothing to the person wearing it.

Sailors know their own boats in detail. The sheer line, the rig, the shape of the keel, whether the transom is reverse or canoe, how a model changed between the 1980s and the 1990s version. A shirt that gets those things right is recognizable across a dock. A shirt that does not is just a shirt.

So every design here starts from a specific model. We keep a drawing library covering thousands of production sailboats and catamarans (Catalina, Beneteau, Jeanneau, Hunter, C&C, Tartan, Cal, Nautor Swan, Lagoon, Leopard, and many more), and when a model is not in it yet we prepare the drawing before printing. When a model changed across its production run, we match the drawing to the year you give us, and we send a proof if there is any question about which version you sail.

Made to order, in small numbers

Nothing here is stocked in bulk. Each shirt is printed after it is ordered, which is what makes one-off orders and mixed crew orders possible with no minimum and no setup fee. It also means a reorder months later matches the first one, because the drawing for your boat stays on file.

The trade is turnaround: made to order takes about 5 to 7 business days to print and ship rather than shipping the same afternoon. We think that is the right trade for something built around your specific boat. Shipping is free on orders over $75.

What we make

Tees with the drawing large on the back or on the chest, long sleeves, sweatshirts, and hoodies, plus stickers, magnets, mugs, and ship's log notebooks carrying the same drawing. Browse the range in custom boat shirts, or outfit everyone aboard from custom crew shirts.

Getting in touch

Questions about a model, a year, or an order in progress are welcome before you buy rather than after. The frequently asked questions page covers sizing, shipping, returns, and how the drawings are matched. Anything not answered there, use the contact page or write to support@sailboatshirts.com and a person will answer.
