Gifts for Sailboat Owners
The best gift for a sailboat owner is something with their own boat on it. We make shirts, hoodies, hats, and mugs with a line drawing of their exact sailboat and its boat name, from $10 to $65. Order by December 10 for US Christmas delivery, or send a gift card ($35 to $100) if you are late or unsure.
By Corey Feduck, founder. Updated October 2026.
I'm Corey, a liveaboard sailor in Ventura, California. Sailors notice when the boat on a shirt is not really their boat. That is why everything here starts with a drawing of their actual make and model.

Don't know their boat details?
Get the gift card. It is emailed right after checkout, it never expires, and it comes in $35, $50, $75, or $100. They pick the shirt, hoodie, hat, or mug, tell us their boat, and we draw it with their boat name. It also works after the December 10 cutoff. Print it and wrap it, or forward the email.
If you know the make and model but not the size, the gift card is still the safer pick.
How it works
- Pick a product. Start from custom sailboat shirts, the accessories, or a model shirt if their boat is already listed.
- Enter the boat make, model, and boat name on the product page. Add the year if the model changed over its production run.
- We prepare the drawing. If the boat is already in our library, we use that drawing. If not, we prepare one before anything is printed. If something is unclear, we email you before printing instead of guessing.
- It is made to order. Nothing is printed ahead of time. Production and handling take 5 to 7 business days.
- It ships with tracking. US shipping is shown at checkout, and most US orders arrive within about 2 weeks of ordering.

Frequently asked questions
What do you get a sailboat owner who has everything?
Something with their own boat on it. They already own the gear. A shirt, hoodie, hat, or mug with a line drawing of their exact sailboat and its boat name is something they do not have, and it is the kind of gift sailors keep wearing.
Can I order without knowing the exact model?
Yes. Enter what you know on the product page and we email you before printing if anything is unclear. If you do not know the make or model at all, the gift card is the easy answer, because they fill in the boat details themselves.
When do I need to order for Christmas?
Order by December 10 for delivery by Christmas to US addresses. Every item is made to order and takes 5 to 7 business days before it ships. International orders should be placed as early as possible. After December 10, the gift card is emailed instantly.
What if it doesn't fit?
Email us within 30 days of delivery and we will reprint it or refund it in full under our 30-day happiness guarantee. They keep the original, so there is nothing to send back. Each product page has a size chart if you want to check first.
Do you do crew shirts for the whole boat?
Yes. Crew Shirts are $35 each and carry the same drawing of the boat for everyone, with each person's own name and position. Add one shirt per person with its own size and text, and check out once. There is no minimum order.
Does the gift card expire?
No. The gift card never expires. It is emailed right after checkout, so you can print it and wrap it or forward the email.
